Point taken about PPT skills. :-) However, there are still jobs requiring good writing and analysis and which have been an entry for many into the middle class. This will likely disappear when business types get adequate work from AI tools, and then also won't have to deal with humans and their messy needs.

I do remember calculators! However, you actually *had to know/understand* the equation or formula, and enter it. Calculators were tools. ChatGPT eliminates the formulation part since it attempts to interpret the problem directly. Based on a few tests I've tried, it can't quite handle basic algebra word problems, but you can see where the tech is going.

Yeah, that's true about who has access to it and understands how to use it. But overall, I think ChatGPT should never have been released to the general public. Time will tell.
