Yes! They can't get to the point where they criticize the American myths -- free markets, do it all yourself-- because they don't want to look like disgruntled losers. And so they have to do it indirectly. As was noted long ago, fascism is anti-capitalism for the middle class. You can kind of understand the PoV, but then it quickly veers off into conspiracies, and "others" trying to secretly enslave and take away your freedom.
